To celebrate, we're highlighting the 2025 Little League Coach of the Year Award, supported by Positive Coaching Alliance. This award is an opportunity to recognize Little League coaches who go above and beyond for their players and communities.
Behind every young athlete is a coach who shows up, leads with heart, and makes a lasting impact far beyond the game. This year, three coaches — one each from Baseball, Softball, and the Challenger Division — will be honored for their leadership, sportsmanship and dedication.
Nominations are open through Sunday, June 15, 2025, and each winning coach will receive a $5,000 grant to support their local league.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees must:
- Be active coaches with an affiliated Little League Baseball, Softball, or Challenger Division program, with at least three years of experience
- Be Diamond Leader certified (or complete the certification by June 15)
What Makes a Great Coach?
The judging panel will look for coaches who:
- Lead with positivity and respect
- Inspire kids both on and off the field
- Go above and beyond their coaching duties strengthen their team and community
