College recruiting can feel like a full-time job — especially if you're doing it for the first time. The good news? There are some incredible platforms, profiles, and social accounts that can help you track offers, rankings, and highlight videos, while giving your athlete the exposure they need.

Here are eight trusted resources to help you through the soccer recruiting journey:

TopDrawerSoccer

What it is: The go-to site for college soccer recruiting — with rankings, commitment lists, event recaps and player features.

Why we like it: If you’re serious about college soccer, you’re probably already here. It’s the most comprehensive database of who’s going where, and how they got there. Coaches check it, players check it — and so do we.

Don Williams – SRUSA

What it is: A veteran coach and scout with a Twitter/X feed packed with insights into recruiting, player development and what families really need to understand about the process.

Why we like it: Don doesn’t sugarcoat things. His posts are sharp, smart and often challenge the hype cycle. We learn something every time we read his feed.

SoccerWire

What it is: A full-fledged media site covering youth soccer — including player rankings, recruiting news, team profiles and a paid recruiting membership.

Why we like it: The site goes deep. Their content offers more analysis than most, and their rankings and tournament coverage are a solid reference point for serious families.

ScoutingZone

What it is: A recruiting platform used at nearly every major showcase, where athletes create searchable profiles that college coaches view in real-time.

Why we like it: If your player is attending national showcases, this is non-negotiable. Coaches use it during events — and being unlisted can mean being unseen.

NCSA (Next College Student Athlete)

What it is: One of the most established recruiting platforms out there, offering everything from free profiles to premium support with coach communication and strategy.

Why we like it: You get what you put in. There’s a ton of good info — most free, but be aware, they will try and upsell you to use one of their recruiters.

SportsRecruits

What it is: A paid platform for building profiles, sending film to coaches and tracking exactly who’s engaging with your athlete’s content.

Why we like it: We love the accountability and visibility. Athletes (and parents) can actually see when a coach opens a message or watches a video — a huge motivator.

CaptainU

What it is: A user-friendly recruiting tool for managing coach communication, profiles and tournament presence.

Why we like it: Simple and effective. It’s especially helpful for younger athletes starting early, or families just getting into the recruiting process.

FieldLevel

What it is: A platform that emphasizes coach-to-coach connections — your club or high school coach helps recommend and connect you to college programs.

Why we like it: This one leans into relationships. If your coach is involved and supportive, FieldLevel can help amplify your profile in a big way.
