The Youth Inc. Podcast is Back with All-Star Lineup: Tom Brady, Ryan Day, Malcolm Gladwell and More

When Greg Olsen retired from the NFL in 2021 after 14 years in the league, he started coaching his kids' youth sports teams in Charlotte, NC. The landscape was much different—almost unrecognizable—than when he was a kid growing up in New Jersey, and he thought if he had a hard time figuring out youth sports today than the average parent would likely be lost.
So, Olsen launched a podcast called Youth Inc. to talk to some of the biggest names in sports to help guide athletes, parents and coaches on their youth sports journeys. Season 1 of the podcast featured 44 episodes with accomplished athletes and coaches, including Jennie Finch, Christian Yelich, Kim Mulkey, Russell Wilson, Christian McCaffery and Nancy Liberman. Those episodes drew more than 500,000 views and helped the Youth Inc. YouTube page grow to more than 112,000 subscribers.
Olsen didn’t want to stop there and sought to create a comprehensive content and commerce platform for youth sports. He assembled a team, recruited ambassadors for every sport and built a multi-channel resource that didn’t exist in youth sports.
“I wanted to create something impactful to help athletes, parents and coaches on their youth sports journeys,” said Olsen. “Growing up in a small town as the son of a very successful high school football coach, I know how sports can shape kid’s lives. I want kids and parents to experience the joy and lessons that sports give you at every level.”
Along with the launch of the platform, the Youth Inc. podcast is back and bigger than ever. Olsen will record 26 episodes over the next year with a mix of bold faced names in several different sports.
The new season of the Youth Inc. podcast kicks off on Aug. 12 with an exclusive interview with Tom Brady. Olsen and Brady talk about everything from their youth sports journeys to their very public so-called rivalry after Brady took Olsen’s spot on the No. 1 Fox broadcasting team. Spoiler alert: it’s not a rivalry, the two are friends and have tremendous respect for one another.
After Brady the lineup of A-listers doesn’t slow down with Ryan Day, CJ Stroud, Malcolm Gladwell and Dr. Michael Gervais, Missy Franklin, Big Cat from Barstool, Bryce Young, James Clear, Clayton Kershaw, Mo Vaughn, Adrian Wojnarowski, Jenny Levy and more.
